Only one vegetarian dish (sheep cheese) on the menu. Ordering a side dish as a vegetarian or vegan option alone was not possible, which was made very unfriendly to us. The kitchen seems to be very inflexible. Later the speech became more friendly and the salad I finally ate was okay. The fish my companion was very tasty, even if the portions were relatively small. Furniture is old-fashioned, the room smells musty. Prices are very high.

We came to the restaurant with a reservation and followed the request to stop first, we would be led to the place. We stood there for a good ten minutes, while the service staff walked past us at least 6 times without paying any attention to us, let alone at least asking us for patience. Now, after a little debate between the service and the counter, we were led to the designated table and given menus. The table was free the entire wait. It would have been no problem to sit down at the table for now. Beverage cards were apparently sold out. After another waiting time of a good 15 minutes, the service staff came to the table and took our orders, including advice on drinks. The food came quickly. At the table they apologized that we had to wait. Which wouldn't have been the problem for us ... we just stood there for a very long time without paying any attention. In the meantime, the landlady cleaned 3 tables and cashed in without looking at us. Food was good and warm, nothing out of the ordinary. You just pay more for fish. During the subsequent payment process, we were not asked whether we would like to pay together or separately. Even at our hesitation, the handwritten receipt was presented to us and the total amount was collected. We had to work out what each individual had afterwards. Should we be in town again, not here again.

We had reserved a table and waited at the front door for over 10 minutes to be brought to the table. A word of greeting and the hint that it would take a moment would have been enough. But the two waitresses didn't look at us and hurried past us several times. Although our table was free, three more tables were cashed and disinfected. We stood in the way for the guests who wanted to leave. The organization is uncoordinated. The customer is not king here. However, the food was good.

Restaurant is cozy, the food is good. North German Stringent. Changes to the dish will be charged extra (please no fried potatoes but fries, for example)

A very cozy, rustic designed restaurant. The space is a bit cramped. But that increases the comfort factor. The food is delicious. There is fish and also a lamb dish. As it is for a Frisian island. 😉 We had as a starter a crab soup and as a main course Labskaus and plaice Büsumer way. Highly recommended! The prices are okay. The plaice costs about 25 €.

If we are on Föhr and want to eat fine we prefer to go to Lüttje Kök. Everything fits together into a harmonious unity. The very good food and the homely atmosphere of the decor which is lovingly decorated to the smallest detail.
